President Performance Review June 19, 2015

The Board of Visitors met on June 19, 2015 to review the President’s annual performance with Rector White presiding.

Rector White stated that this meeting is called for the purpose of the annual performance evaluation of the President as required by the Code of Virginia.

President Trible presented his progress on the goals set forth by the Board of Visitors last year, his annual goals for 2015-2016 and the University goals for 2016-2022. The Board members then met and reviewed the President’s performance and shared their evaluation and updated goals with the President.

In recognition of President Trible’s outstanding leadership and his contributions to the success of the University and its students, the Board approved a 6% increase in the President’s base compensation. In addition a mini-sabbatical of three months was approved by the Board.

The Rector and Board expressed their appreciation to the President for his hard work and success in meeting the goals and priorities of the University. President Trible thanked the Board for their support and encouragement.
