The Building and Grounds Committee met on Friday, September 20, 2019 in the Monroe Room of the David Student Union, with Mr. William Ermatinger presiding.

Approval of the Minutes from the May 31, 2019 Meeting

Mr. Bruce Jennings made a motion to approve the May 31, 2019 minutes; seconded by Mr. William Ermatinger, with all in favor.

Executive Vice President, Mr. Bill Brauer, reported on the following:

Capital Projects Summary

Mr. Brauer reported the Fine Arts Center and Band Rehearsal Hall construction is well into steel erection and is on schedule to be completed in January 2021. This is a State project. The construction of the Jennings Turf Stadium is complete. Construction of a new residence hall is underway with a completion date of August 2020. This is a Real Estate Foundation Project. The design of the building to replace CNU North (the CNU/Sun Trust Building) is nearing completion. Construction will begin in January 2020 and will be completed in the summer of 2021. This is a Real Estate Foundation Project.
