National Standardized Testing
Luter seniors take the Major Field Test (MFT), which is designed to measure students’ knowledge in nine business-related categories, including accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, qualitative analysis, information systems, legal and social environment, and international. There are approximately 12 questions in each category.
The MFT assesses our program strengths and identifies areas for improvement by comparing scores of over 325 domestic institutions, with over 35,000 students taking the test each year. Since 2019, Luter School of Business students have performed at or above the 92nd percentile.
The highest Luter student scorer each academic year receives academic recognition and a financial award.
