After Graduation
Students with a studio art degree pursue careers in game design, animation, art therapy, fashion, graphic design, interior design, web design, film and photography, among other fields.
Art history majors go on to careers as art librarians, antique dealers, art preparators, archivists, museum curators and educators, as well as jobs in publishing, teaching and research.
Students interested in becoming primary or secondary school art teachers are prepared to pursue graduate studies, such as Christopher Newport’s Master of Arts in Teaching Program.
