After Graduation
A mathematics degree is highly flexible and sought by many employers. The ability to think and reason logically, solve problems and make critical observations is valuable in any career.
Math majors are prepared for success in systems analysis, actuarial science, computer programming, modeling and simulation, operations research, and finance to name just a few.
Many math majors go on to seek higher degrees in mathematics, statistics and economics or take advantage of Christopher Newport’s Master of Arts in Teaching program to pursue a career as an educator.
