Lynn Lambert

Dean of Graduate Studies
Lambert works collaboratively with several university offices to provide resources for faculty and students to pursue research opportunities. She administers the Office for Undergraduate Research and Creativity and guides faculty funding and research programs through faculty development grants, sabbaticals and the sponsored programs office. As dean of graduate studies, she oversees the four graduate programs:
- Master of arts in teaching
- Master of science in applied physics and computer science
- Master of financial analysis
- Master of science in environmental science
Lambert holds a tenured faculty position in the Department of Physics, Computer Science (PCSE) and has served in multiple positions across campus, including associate dean of graduate studies and associate chair of the PCSE department. She has published papers in Computational Linguistics and Computer Science Education; received grants from the National Science Foundation, the Computing Research Association and NASA; and was awarded an Erskine Fellowship to teach at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. She earned a BA in Latin from Wellesley College, an MS in computer science from Shippensburg University, and a PhD in computer science from the University of Delaware.
