New! Christopher Newport offers merit scholarships to qualified out-of-state transfer students who enroll at Christopher Newport for the first time in the 2024-2025 academic year. The scholarships partially offset the higher cost of attendance rates for non-residents.
- Criteria: Qualify for transfer admission as a non-resident for tuition purposes. Only new transfers are eligible for consideration, beginning in fall 2024.
- Scholarship: Renewable $3,000-$5,000 scholarship based on holistic review of academic performance.
- How to Apply: The Transfer Center will notify out-of-state transfer students of the scholarship at the point of admission on a priority date and fund-available basis.
