The Office of Accessibility and Care Team Support (ACTS) serves students at Christopher Newport University by providing comprehensive accessibility services, individualized support, connections to campus and community resources, and confidential support for complainants and respondents involved in the University’s Title IX process.
Our work is centered on supporting student success and enhancing the overall student experience at CNU. The ACTS team supports students through one-on-one meetings, ongoing guidance, or simply serving as a trusted point of contact. ACTS offers students a supportive space to seek advice, ask questions, and stay connected.
Our mission is to promote equitable access to educational opportunities and resources while fostering a campus culture focused on compassion, belonging, respect, and resilience.
