If you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and are currently enrolled at a college or university, we consider you a transfer international applicant.
How to apply as an international transfer student:

- Apply online through the Common Application
- Submit all transcripts from other colleges and universities you have attended to an official credential evaluator who will prepare an objective, analytical review that describes and interprets your credentials in terms of their U.S. equivalents. Once the review is complete the credential evaluator must send a copy of the review directly to us.
- Submit official secondary school transcript(s) and/or leaving certificate(s). If these documents are not in English, please also include certified English translations.
- If English is not your native language or your secondary school instruction was not in English, submit your official scores from one of the following English language proficiency tests:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- Minimum required score:
- 71 for the internet-based TOEFL
- 197 on the computer-based TOEFL
- 530 on the paper-based TOEFL
- Minimum required score:
- Duolingo English Test (DET)
- Minimum required score: 100
- Global Test of English Communication (GTEC CBT)
- Minimum required score: 1150
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
- Minimum required score: 6.0
- International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP)
- Minimum required score: 3.7
- Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB)
- Minimum required score: 74
- Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic)
- Minimum required score: 50
- Trinity Integrated Skills in English (ISE)
- Minimum required score: ISE II Merit Skills
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- Submit the financial resources statement and official bank statements or affidavits. This is only required for international students who will need an F-1 visa.
- Submit a copy of your current U.S. visa, if applicable. You may also be required to submit a copy of your parent's visa or proof of employment.
